Graham Reid

Graham Reid has over 30 years experience in telecoms having worked in systems development, product management, systems integration and project management. He set up Longstone Consulting Ltd in April 2008 and his clients are TeleManagement Forum, Wipro and also East England Development Agency where he is currently Project Director for Innovation Martlesham. Before leaving BT in March 2008 he was Director Managed Networks Solutions responsible for the design, delivery and operational performance of managed services and outsourced solutions to communication service providers.
In the 90's he successfully project managed the integration and delivery of BT's global intelligent voice network and then took programme management responsibility to successfully deliver the Concert Virtual Network Service. He was BT's project director for Y2K where he was directly engaged with the CBI, local trade associations, the regulator, the media and government.
In 2001 he became Director of Engineering BT Exact responsible for the 3,000 professionals who design and deliver BT's networks and systems. Also at this time he was a member of BT Scotland Management Board, an executive board member of Evolved Networks and non executive director of Internet Designers Ltd. Graham joined BT Wholesale in 2004 and was responsible for a number of internal change programmes including the creation of Access Operations and Planning later to be branded Openreach.
Graham is a keen golfer and avid reader; he is married and lives in Suffolk.
