Bruce Provan
Bruce has represented the residents of Kessingland on Waveney District Council for five years; in recent times serving in the Cabinet as Portfolio Holder for Housing, Revenue and Benefits. In doing so he successfully helped improve the provision of affordable housing and turn Waveney into the sixth best council nationally for reduction of homelessness.
Having won election to the County Council in June this year, Bruce was appointed to the Cabinet, in the newly-created portfolio of 'Skills and Economic Development'. He sees his overall role there as the creation of higher grade jobs and the provision of skilled people to fill them.
A conscientious and hard-working constituency councillor, Bruce is strongly aware of and excited by the potential of Suffolk as a great place to live and visit.
